My name is Sarah Pollard Hughey and I am the owner of Hughey Behavioral, Inc. I have been providing both mental health and addictions treatment (including eating disorders) for the past 15 years. Through my experience, I have learned that for people to live a full and productive life one must achieve a balance in all areas of their life. This includes having positive relationships, a happy work life, sense of spirituality, good physical and mental health and while taking time for leisure and fun activities.

In my practice, I encourage people to make their needs a priority so that they can live happier and more balanced lives. Often this includes addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship/couples issues, work issues, grief / loss and addictions. This practice has a focus on health and well-being while helping one to achieve healthy lifestyle.

Since early adulthood I have always been focused on my own personal growth while helping others to gain the strenth to help themselves and move in a positive direction. I will never suggest to any of my clients that they do something that I would not be willing to do myself. I also make it a priority to keep my life in balance. As part of keeping my life in balance, I work a shortened work week. This allows me to focus on the things I enjoy in my life such as traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
